Wild Wild West...... Coast May 2009

It was a rainy miserable day on the public holiday of the 1st May 2009 at 6am to meet a CRAZY bunch of high adventure seekers at the Engen one stop on the N7. Giz and I had bike problems which delayed us in joining the group but later that arvie joined up in Vanrhynsdorp after they had finished lunch. Only once we fell in, did we start relaxing and enjoying the outing. Geoff informs me there were 19 bikes, three pillions and with Abie and his son John totaled 25 people at Jurg se Kaia. This is the picture of the wild, wild west ......................coast tour of May 2009: Its always always about the people Going into Jurg se Kaia had its challenges with our good friend Chris Dunn living up to his name "CHRIS DUNNIT" broke his ankle in three places. Saturday had another of my good friends, Boris hurting himself by breaking his ankle in two places this time. If you ride em hard you hurt em hard. Boris being checked out by Wayne and Geoff. Looked on by Joe aand Noelene This is the accident scene of Boris. Check out the snaking of the bike until the bike crushed Boris's leg against a nasty big Khaki Bush causing the damage. The setting of Jurg se Kaia was spectacular, thanks Jurg: The morning after the night before. Coffee Jurg?? Once again a picture to remind us of the setting and to also remind us why we love doing this trip. My fifth.: Only on the WEST COAST. Go figure? My wonderful new Italian friend with the best smile of EVER, Mauritzio.: He was just sitting there with his own thoughts drinking his early morning coffee before facing that thick nasty SAND Gizzy my babes I was so proud of you. Well done .You have TWO West Coast trips under your belt. EVIDENCE at last. Here they are all in a row. Rony, Danny and Mauritzio. The food and dop was great, as only Jurg knows how. Once again thanks Jurg Tough going on Sunday the 3rd leaving our Kaia A stop seemingly coincided with cell phone reception. I love them but hate them. This is the evidence of Gizzies spill on the last day. Giz, you made of rubber girl. the guys that hurt themselves nothing Bird Rock on the way out of the coast on Sunday.
