Thursday morning, 07h45, coming up Sir Lowreys Pass on my way to work - in my bakkie with my thoughts already with a significant project I am working on. A Group on BMW GS'e passed me - fully loaded, etc.

Sug...... I envy you guys!

Enjoy every turn of the crank!

Coming down the same day at about 18h30 I again passed a GS. This time the bike is on a BMW OnCall trailer. The bike had a CEM reg. number (Yellow GSA - I think) - with top box still attached

Do you know if this bike was part of the Wildcoast trip and if they had an accident, or just a mechanical failure?

Regards

Hi there Jaco. Yep it was

Hi there Jaco.

Yep it was probably us you saw and no it was not one of our bikes!

I am on line at the moment as rain is expected any minute and I am eagerly waiting for YR.NO to update their weather site at 22.00. rain means a complete change of route S**&&&%%$$@@@!!!!!!!!!!!!

So I wait patiently for the update.

Trip is progressing very well with loads of fun being had by all. Only 2 slight "off's" but surprisingly 3 destroyed front knobblies on the dirt roads that are in a shocking condition - the worst I have ever seen here!

We are currently at Kob Inn and on our way to Coffee Bay tomorrow. As I type I can hear the waves crashing outside my window, closer to the sea one can not really get.

Watch for the trip report.

Geoff
