So, with all the upsets that have happened over this brilliant world cup, who are you still supporting? Go brazil!!!!

Go Ghana

I'm still rooting for Africa.  Our boys did us proud, and the Ghanaians did too.

I must say I am glad to see the English go - they seemed to play particularly dirty and not particularly well.  They got what they deserved.

Hup Holland!

Went to the Netherlands vs Cameroon game on Thursday - wow, what a game. The atmosphere was absolutely brilliant. The Oranje fans are simply the best - amazing passion for the game. I'm hoping they go a few more rounds - 1st Slovakia and then (all things going well) probably Brazil in the quarters.

I'd like Ghana or a South

I'd like Ghana or a South American team to win.

But I'd like a rich nation like Germany to make it to the finals. We need those rich tourists to stay as long as possible.

Ghana, Germany

Yes, I need the rich soccer fans to stick around, since I own a guest-house!

England played poorly, and David James needs to wash his mouth out - every single time the camera panned to him, he was F-ing and Blinding, whilst the German team calmly went about demolishing England!

And Rooney needed an Oscar for his dive - it really was quite artisitic (as in non-contact artistic!)

S, Go Ghana! Go, Germany!

Hup Holland!

Two down, two to go.

1st Slovenia, then Brazil ... next either Uruguay or Ghana in the semis and then Spain or Germany in the final!

Hup Holland!

Can't agree more Pepe - the Oranje fans passion is something to be seen and experienced . The atmosphere in the stadium for the semi against Urugauy was incredible.

As per my earlier post -

Two down, two to go.

1st Slovenia, then Brazil ... next either Uruguay or Ghana in the semis and then Spain or Germany in the final!

So we meet Spain on Sunday. I'm expecting an awesome game and the Dutch to take the cup. Whoever wins a new name will be added to the list of World Cup winners.

I am not a soccer fan but

I am not a soccer fan but when I went on the fan walk during the semi finals here in town it was fantastic.

Never seen so many people in town and all in orange. Friendly and safe including to officers on duty.

No one can say we as South Africans do not support an international event. I believe we had more support than the world cup in Germany.

Can this be continued after the world cup? Let us see.

Next the Olympics.
