YOUR RIDE TO WORK
Nice photo's makes me want to get out of my office and on to my bike. Unfortunately the N2 from Rondebosch, the R300 and Hindle Road into Blackheath does not make for great photo opportunities!
I am always amused at the half submerged windmill in the lake at Meerlust, it is the most successful windmill in the world! :)
holy crap! Looks like you need a dual surface vehicle just to get to work!
Peter - From these photos, it looks like you have a ZTechnik screen on your Dakar. Are you happy with it?

Steven, I'm on the 1150 today and I think it's a standard screen.
I have a Wild at Heart screen on the Dakar which I'm very happy with, though in certain wind conditions the peak on my helmet catches the wind and rattles my eyes in their sockets! All in all a much better ride with the after-market screen than the standard though.

I try to ride a different way home every day (I may take a short-cut from Somerset West to Welgemoed via Simonstown today
) and I HUNT for dirt roads to make the ride interesting and pleasant.
